Big Sur Food & Wine Festival

The Big Sur Food & Wine Festival is an annual culinary event that captures the essence of Big Sur's eclectic community, artistic expression, and unique cultural heritage. In addition to showcasing a range of wineries and restaurants, the 3-day festival raises funds for the community.

I attended the Grand Tasting at the renowned Henry Miller Library, which featured 40 wineries (including Joyce Vineyards, Talbott Vineyards, and Tudor Wines) and 12 chefs (including Bernardus, Nepenthe, and Esteban).

A giant tent was perched below a grove of redwood trees and strewn with twinkling lights, creating an ambiance that was both naturally beautiful and simply magical. The energy and social chatter of hundreds of enthusiastic foodies bubbled throughout the environment, adding to the overall positive mood of the event.
